Company Founding
jpearl Services was founded in 2007. Our growing company is eager to earn your
business. The Company is an outcome of Angela Scott-Bright's life-long dream of
owning her own business and of being a positive influence in the lives of others.
Angela was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Central
Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She
worked at Ford Motor Company for many years in the field of marketing and sales
before deciding to pursue her dream of business ownership. She is also a real
estate agent and notary public.
Angela's life's purpose is to help uplift people out of situations of poverty,
homelessness, crime, abuse and neglect. As such, she spends a lot of her free time
being involved in activities designed to protect people-- especially children and
women-- and to better our society. She seeks out and actively encourages others to
join in to help make this world a better place.
Angela is also very family oriented. She honored her parents by giving her business
the "jpearl" name. The self-designed company logo reflects her philosophy of family
love-- be it blood family, extended family or work family-- synergy, transformation,
youthful vibrancy and endless possibilities.
Angela is the married mother of two children. She is an active member of Sacred
Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Downtown Detroit, serving as Chairperson of the
Economic Development Commission and as a member of several other
committees. She volunteers her time taking care of senior citizens and the homeless
through jpearl Services and through organizations such as the St. Vincent de Paul
Society, Focus: HOPE and the Detroit-Area Agency on Aging. In her spare time, she
loves bowling, camping, dancing and spending time with family.
